On February 27, the first meeting of the Organizing Committee of the All-Russia Investment Sabantuy “TransUrals” was held in Ufa. The day before the holding of a business forum was agreed upon by the acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, and the chairman of the Moscow branch of “Business Russia”, Andrei Nazarov.

Radiy Khabirov signed a decree to hold the All-Russia Investment Sabantuy “TransUrals-2019” on June 14-15, which, on the one hand, will continue the line of traditional Trans-Ural economic forums, and on the other, will allow to solve issues of the development of the area.

According to the Head of the region, the main tasks of the investment forum are to increase business activity in the Trans-Urals and a broad presentation of the economic potential of the Republic.

“It so happened that a number of our municipalities are far from large industrial centers. Therefore, we want to show some concern about the territory of the Trans-Urals,” said Radiy Khabirov.

According to Andrei Nazarov, the event should be annual, extraordinary and the most memorable among the entire galaxy of federal-scale forums held in the regions of Russia, as well as attract investment and increase business activity in the Trans-Urals.

“Representatives of the Russian regions, primarily from the neighboring Volga and Ural federal districts, will take part in the forum. As well as representatives of major business associations and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives,” he said during the meeting of the Organizing Committee.

According to him, Sabantuy will last 2 days: “The first day will be held in Sibay - this is the main business part of the event. It includes two dozen events - business breakfasts, interactive sections on various topics, including events on the formation of an investment climate for territories, as well as the environmental situation, the reclamation of man-made facilities, the elimination of environmental damage and, simultaneously, the development of the ore base.”

“The second day will be held as part of the traditional Sabantuy. Its topics are culture, tourism, sports, health care, sanatorium and health direction, gastronomy. This year it is proposed to organize the second day in Abzelilovsky District,” he said.

At the same time, the main topic of the forum will be built around the project “Innoregion”. “Its concept is based on the key concept of a comfortable environment in modern urbanism. We all understand that the quality of the environment greatly affects many parameters of our life, including the business climate and the development of regions. Today, Transurals is not the most comfortable place to live. And this situation needs to be changed, and urgently,” explained Andrei Nazarov.

He also said that a large number of specialists – from designers, urbanists and IT specialists to industrial ecologists, builders and public utilities – will be involved in resolving this issue: “The general task is to create an area where you want to live and work, which you do not want to leave".
