On March 28, a working meeting was held in Bishkek between the acting Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, and the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev.

The acting Head of Bashkortostan expressed confidence that the intergovernmental cooperation agreement signed today will be an important stage for increasing trade turnover. In addition to petrochemical products traditionally supplied to Kyrgyzstan, the Republic is ready to offer modern buses, biological products, complex fertilizers for agriculture and other goods. In turn, Bashkortostan is interested in the production of agro-industrial complex of Kyrgyzstan.

Also Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev noted that Bashkortostan is an important actor in trade and economic relations with Russia. According to the Prime Minister, the visit of Radiy Khabirov will be an impetus for the development of relations between the fraternal peoples.

During the meeting, various aspects of cooperation in education, culture, tourism and sanatorium-resort treatment were discussed. Radiy Khabirov invited the delegation of Kyrgyzstan to take part in the All-Russia investment Sabantuy “TransUrals-2019” and the International Congress of Beekeeping “Apimondia-2021”.
